Diego Ibáñez Lahoz

(Castellón de la Plana, 1995) Graduated in Architecture and Master in Architecture from the EINA of the University of Zaragoza and the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens.

Diego understands architecture as a living organism that is born from the earth and generates an intimate relationship with everything around it: the landscape, the tradition of the place and the people who inhabit it. With several honors to his credit in different subjects such as Architectural Design, highlighting a first local award in the "XXVII Iberian competition for construction solutions Pladur", an honorable mention in the "REhabitating 2018" contest of the Sustainability and Architecture Association , and an outstanding in his research work "Built by God. The trace of the spontaneous: Aris Konstantinidis", finished his studies in 2019. During that time he collaborated in different projects such as the construction of an orphanage in Ghana and a workshop in Belarus .

He has collaborated in the first architecture exhibition promoted by young architects in Zaragoza, Pre_Imaginarios, developing graphic design and brand identity. Intoxicated by the Mediterranean and Greek culture, he moved to Greece in 2020 joining the MOLD Architects studio where he collaborated with Iliania Kerestetzi in the design of several houses and hotels in the Cyclades Islands, currently under construction. His drawings have been published in various architecture magazines such as Archdaily . He combines architecture with photography and drawing that he uses as an extension of his own thinking. In 2021 he returned to Spain and founded Estudio Hábito.
